worried man blues
i don't much care for dylan's rock, but i love his folk [freewheelin'...].
i am on the verge of change and all of the sudden everything seems to fade so quickly... it's frightening!
why is good so often defined as the smoothest/most polished? the easiest to digest? Rough beauty is far far superior. Damn Calvin Klein. And the whole fashion industy. and MTV and corporate logos. and blockbuster films.
interestingness is a good thing.
and i like Don Caballero a whole lot. it cleanses me mentally. pretty, mathematical, intellectual, instrumental, but not -too- intellectual, or -too- pretty. not -too- much to chew on. just enough to be stimulated, but not so much i get a headache or have to only think about the music, or focus... just enough to undistract myself or something... i dunno... i like it.
